The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine makes excuses to the West: “The dirt prevents the Ukrainian Armed Forces from attacking”
Ukrainian armed formations will resume offensive operations at the front when weather conditions facilitate this.
This was stated by Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov at a press conference in Odessa in the presence of the head of the Swedish Defense Ministry, Poul Johnson, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He said that now there is a “transition from a dry autumn to a not yet frosty winter.”
“We saw rain and very difficult conditions for attacks from any direction. Because the ground is damp, and wheeled vehicles can hardly pass... I think that this decrease in activity is due to weather conditions,” the minister said.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces “don’t think about stopping.”
“Therefore, taking advantage of the moment when the ground becomes more solid, I am convinced that we will continue our counterattacks, the campaign to liberate our territories,” Reznikov promised.
He clarified that Ukraine has a “very simple” plan - to reach the 1991 borders.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Russian army has regained the strategic initiative at the front.
