Slavyansk, May 30 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Ministry of Defense states that they do not know where the location of the buses that took 200 children from Slavyansk is currently unknown.

This was stated by the head of the task force for informing the ATO, Vladislav Seleznev.
“The situation with the removal of children from the city of Slavyansk is quite unclear. As of today, it is unknown where about 200 children are,” Seleznev said.
He claims that the latest information that was received yesterday was that a convoy of buses was trying to leave Slavyansk. The extreme point where it was located was a militia checkpoint at the exit from the city; this column did not move further.
According to him, the leadership of the ATO did not receive any requests from the self-proclaimed authorities of Slavyansk regarding the provision of appropriate conditions for the movement of children in a certain direction.
Let us remind you that yesterday more than two hundred children from Slavyansk went to the Crimean health resort “Artek”. The buses are escorted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Traffic Inspectorate, the Slavgorod publication reported.
According to the head of the department for family, youth, physical education and sports Tatyana Derevyanko, today the period of stay for children will be twenty-one days. But if necessary, it can be increased until the situation stabilizes. Accompanying children with a power of attorney are sent with the children. Travel and vouchers are free for parents.
In addition, information appeared in the media that on Thursday afternoon Slavyansk came under fire from howitzers and mortars, but refugees were not allowed out of the city - cars and buses were turned back. The militia also claimed that a bus carrying children who were trying to be evacuated from Slavyansk was turned around in the opposite direction after waiting for five hours at the checkpoint.
As Navigator reported, Crimea, the Svyatogorsk Lavra, Russia, and Western Ukraine volunteered to accept refugees from Slavyansk.
