Police are preparing to suppress riots in the south of the Odessa region

Odessa, February 27 (PolitNavigator, Anna Vetvitskaya) – In the city of Izmail, Odessa region, the police introduced the “Wave” operational plan, which provides for the localization and elimination of group violations of public order and mass riots.

All territorial internal affairs bodies of the south of the Odessa region are also involved in this event, Naspravdi reports.

“The plan was introduced with the aim of checking the readiness of the internal affairs bodies and units of the southern region of the Odessa region to carry out the relevant tasks,” the message says.

Earlier, Advisor to the Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky said that currently the greatest attention from law enforcement is paid to the Kharkov and Odessa regions, where, according to him, a “critical” situation has developed.
