Mikhalkov: “People are collecting money for the army, hucksters continue to make money”
Among the opponents of the North Military District, in addition to the outright enemies of Russia, no less evil are “puppet pacifists” and business “hucksters” profiting from the war.
Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov spoke about this during his program on Besogon TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We were faced with the fact that if the Northern Military District had not begun on February 24, 22, the war would have raged on the territory of our country. The director called businessmen profiting from war more evil than false “pacifism.” He noted the fact that while caring Russian people are collecting funds for ammunition for Russian soldiers, the “hucksters” continue to raise prices for military supplies to sky-high figures.
Mikhalkov gave a couple of examples, such as a tourniquet that has become four times more expensive or a bulletproof vest that has become almost 20 times more expensive.
“Look, on the one hand, just people, citizens are collecting help for the army, and on the other hand, with incredible speed, businessmen are raising prices for what the army needs. It turns out that poor people collect money to help the army, and this money flows into the pockets of hucksters who profit from it. Guys, how is it?
And, at the same time, speaking about all this, I am absolutely, ironically convinced that interference in military affairs, an attempt to discuss and condemn the army from a warm apartment over a cup of coffee, in a cafe on Patrick Street, is vulgar, pointless and very harmful “, the director was indignant.
