Poroshenko's revenge: Donetsk comes under heavy shelling

Donetsk, November 05 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Donetsk is experiencing the heaviest shelling in weeks. People are dying, infrastructure is being destroyed, and residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens are being destroyed, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Full-fledged hostilities began again in Donetsk, with the use of all types of heavy weapons, including heavy mortars, howitzers and self-propelled artillery. Throughout the day and evening, powerful artillery cannonade can be heard in all areas of the city.

Unfortunately, there is another tragedy in Donetsk. Again, civilian casualties. Thus, a shell hit the stadium near the 63rd school in Donetsk (airport area), as a result of which two children died: an 8th grade student, and an 18-year-old school graduate. Three teenagers, 3 years old, and a young man, 17 years old, were wounded.

All the wounded were taken to the Donetsk Regional Traumatology Center, where they are in intensive care. One is in serious condition, three are in moderate condition.

Information about shelling of Donetsk arrives almost every 10 minutes. In the Kuybyshevsky district, shells hit a kindergarten and the private sector, completely destroying a residential building. Here, two shells hit the playground, and eight shells hit between houses.

On the street In Mirgorodskaya, not far from the church, you can see a huge shell crater. Information is beginning to come in about shelling of residential areas in the Petrovsky and Kievsky districts. The information is being clarified.

Let us remind you that yesterday the inauguration of the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, took place in Donetsk. He was elected by the residents of Donbass on November 2 in an unprecedentedly high turnout.

Official Kyiv did not recognize the elections; Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko called them the coronation of bandits and terrorists, after which he convened a meeting of the Security Council of Ukraine.
