Melitopol self-defense is saved from the militia by the German line "Wotan"
Melitopol, November 14 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Melitopol, the local Self-Defense decided to independently build a defensive line.

As RIA-Melitopol reports , on the "Votan" line, self-defense forces are digging trenches, setting up dugouts, and preparing rods for covering the trenches and dugouts.
“Representatives of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine visited the Melitopol defense line and were pleasantly surprised by the professional approach of the volunteers to military affairs,” the media quotes a statement from activists.
Let us recall that the defensive line of the German troops “Wotan” was created according to Hitler’s plan, as part of the barrier protecting Europe from Bolshevism. At the end of August 1943, the battle for the Dnieper began: by October, the bridgeheads captured by Soviet troops were expanded, the line was broken, which was the beginning of the liberation of Right Bank Ukraine.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the commanders of Ukrainian volunteer battalions announced that the Zaporozhye region was not ready for defense. In Kyiv, statements are constantly heard at various levels about the activation of militias and the concentration of Russian troops.
