“Criminal” mayor Renato Usatii accused Dodon of dual citizenship
The President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, has a second citizenship, which he received while already being head of state.
The controversial Moldovan politician and mayor of the city of Bălți, Renato Usatii, stated this on air on TV8, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“This is not illegal, but he had to say that “I, Igor Dodon, was very scared on a certain day, and asked someone to quickly make me a passport. The document was made very quickly,” Usatii said.
At the same time, the mayor avoided answering the question whether he himself has a second citizenship.
Member of Parliament Grigory Novak decided to defend the honor of the president. He reminded the mayor of Balti about his criminal past.
“A bandit from the 90s - early 2000s, who to this day has retained the vocabulary and behavior of a bandit with a finger, only without a crimson jacket, appears on TV... He confuses people with the criminal gathering of which he is a part. Let us remind him how he fled with his tail between his legs from Moldova, and last year he fled with his tail between his legs from Russia, where he came under criminal prosecution. Russian prosecutors seem to be getting closer to uncovering the acts of lawlessness committed by this criminal,” Novak wrote on his Facebook.
