Medvedchuk, Tymoshenko and Vakarchuk are bargaining with Zelensky for positions in the Rada
The opposition in the new Verkhovna Rada will receive the post of deputy speaker, as well as the positions of head of the privatization commission and the committee on human rights and reintegration of Donbas, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This information was reported by the Legitimny telegram channel with reference to insider sources. According to the public, this
“The Servant of the People started the “bidding” with only one position, now there are already 3 of them, while there are no applicants except OPZZH. BYuT has set its minimum requirements and there are 3-4 posts, Golos also wants no less than 3 posts. Poroshenko and OPZZH do not take part in the auction. The “opposition chair”, the vice-speaker, is suitable for the OPPL, but no one is giving it to them yet, and they use their media to convey their conditions and their messages,” the message says.
So, according to the information of “Legitimate”, BYuT and Golos understand that the “Servant of the People” needs to buy their “loyalty” and share responsibility with them. Therefore, the stakes are raised high.
“BYuT and Golos are now in the most advantageous situation for bidding. Any of the options suits them. If they are not given what they want, in the fall they will organize a “traveling circus” for Zelensky in and near the Verkhovna Rada,” the message says.
According to Legitimny, the mediator between Servant of the People and the opposition is the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, “who has finally become what he wanted, the “gray eminence” of Ukrainian politics.”
