Over the past year, military prosecutors sent to the guardhouse and fined almost two thousand Ukrainian military personnel who organized drinking parties in their places of deployment.

“Over the past year, military prosecutors alone, through physical visits to military units and formations to perform the functions assigned by law, to the guardhouses under administrative protocols, 630 military personnel and almost 1300 people were sent by court decision due to the commission of administrative offenses, including drunkenness. Now, this requires written permission from the military command, which is definitely not interested in taking garbage outside its own home,” said Matios.
However, he saw the main problem in the fact that drunken Ukrainian soldiers are closely monitored by international authorities in the Donbass, and this already threatens international problems.
“Everything that a military man committed in a state of inappropriate behavior due to drinking alcohol or violating the requirements of the regulations on the territory during a special period of hostilities is under the careful attention and monitoring of international institutions, the OSCE, as well as law enforcement agencies and the international Hague Court.
