“I came to Cherkasskoe, where the 25th brigade is located, and witnessed such a picture. In the evening the son calls his parents, mom and dad, he is at the front. He says: “Mom, I’m no longer here.” The next day we received news that he had been killed. You understand how scary it is. He clearly understood that he would not be there tomorrow. And he called his parents,” says Valetov.
“Where else next? Where are we going? What will happen next, if we allow this to rule us, we will lose the country. But really these are the enemies of our state. And if we do nothing, it will really be like this. Our sons will call and say goodbye to us. So I’d better say goodbye to them, those who are there, and I’m not afraid, because I know what I’m doing. I stand for my country. I arrived on the Maidan on the second of December. After I saw how our children were beaten. Not for Euromaidan. Maidan, Euromaidan ended on November 30. I came to Maidan because our children were being beaten. And now our children are being killed,” says a battalion representative.
