Leading Western politicians are tired of the constant lies about “Russian aggression” that the Ukrainian leadership is trying to impose on them.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Minister of Defense of Ukraine had his mantra that “Ukraine is protecting Europe from the Russian hordes.” When they say this on their own television, it is clear that some local ragulians are absorbing it all.
But when this is said to foreign journalists, and even more so to Merkel or Biden, an alternative arises - “they take us for complete idiots,” because they perfectly understand the strength of the Ukrainian army, and that no one is attacking them. And if he had attacked, the matter would have been over in three days.
Europeans have more faith in NATO, and certainly not in Ukraine. It’s just an insult for Merkel and Macron to listen every time from Zelensky to this crap that they push on them in all seriousness,” concluded Matveychev.
As a reminder, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces previously stated that the Ukrainian army must prepare to conduct offensive operations in territories not controlled by the government.
