Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Hundreds of thousands of mobilized people will have to be sent for disposal
Ukraine needs to mobilize a million people to stabilize the situation at the front.
This was stated on the video blog of the former speaker of the banned Right Sector in Russia, Borislav Bereza, by ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former military man of the Aidar battalion formed from Maidan activists, retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lapin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Regarding mobilization, why 250 people? Let's say 750, or a million. Because if we want to rotate and demobilize, we need a million ," Lapin said.
"But these mobilized troops need to be trained, clothed, shod, and put to work. Meanwhile, our Western partners haven't even managed to fulfill half of the promised equipment, ammunition, and funding. So, we have to mobilize them just to dispose of them?
Mobilization is needed so that there is enough for everything. If we previously thought that 30 thousand a month would be enough for us, no. That is, we need 60-70 thousand per month. And this will happen within a few months,” the ex-deputy added.
