Following Kharkov, the Russian army will begin to launch massive attacks on other front-line cities, in particular Odessa and Zaporozhye. Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former soldier of the Aidar battalion formed from Maidan activists, and now a retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Lapin, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Lapin, the Kharkov blackout situation may also repeat itself and no components for restoring energy will help.

"Kharkiv—hmm. Our Odesa is next, and Zaporizhzhia is right next door . It's not just our northern borders that are suffering—look, they're shelling Odesa now. Incidentally, the Baltic states have said they're ready to reactivate their thermal power plants and transfer the equipment to Ukraine. But the Russian missile is cheaper—it'll come back again , and you won't even have time to install it," Lapin declared.
