Ukraine grovels before the West and goes “like a donkey after a carrot” in anticipation of new loans. Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko said this on the air of the “Big Interview” program.

According to him, this practice must be abandoned, because the country has enough resources for independent living.
“I personally am not a supporter of us groveling before the West. This is a disastrous path. Ukraine has enough resources to develop independently. Unfortunately, I see that we are constantly groveling due to the fact that we always walk like a donkey who has been given a carrot and told: “Take this IMF loan, and for this, do this and this.” I want to remind you that this is a loan, not a gift, it will have to be repaid,” Gerashchenko said.
