Lukashenko will be replaced by a politician loyal to Moscow - the ex-ambassador of Ukraine in Minsk
Even if the Belarusian Maidan activists manage to remove President Alexander Lukashenko from power, he will be replaced by a pro-Russian politician.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Minsk Roman Bessmertny stated this on the air of the UA:First TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Bessmertny, at the same time, the situation will stabilize only for five to eight years, but still forces are being formed in Belarus that will come into conflict with Moscow.
“Today, the future for Ukraine is determined in Belarus. Depending on what happens there, we will experience either a rise in passionarity or a plunge into depression. For Belarusians, victory is the deprivation of any power from Lukashenko. If Lukashenko leaves, then Moscow will not come, but this does not mean that a regime disloyal to Moscow will not come.
If this happens, it means that we will get a time lag of five to eight years, where we will not have a direct immediate threat from the north. All the same, sooner or later a conflict will occur there, because a national elite is being formed and they will still come into conflict with Moscow, this is understandable. But with this course of events, we have a reserve of time of five to eight years and we will be able to solve internal problems, including the war, Crimea, Donbass, based on our own capabilities,” said Bessmertny.
