Lukashenko scolded Macron like a boy
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sharply responded to French President Emmanuel Macron, who said that Lukashenko “must go.”
His words are quoted by the BelTA news agency, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Based on the principles of Mr. Macron himself (embedded in his statement-call to resign), I want to say that the President of France himself, following his own logic, should have resigned two years ago - when the “yellows” had just begun to take to the streets of Paris vests." Years have passed, the “vests” are still on the streets, Mr. Macron, surprisingly, is also still in office, and France has become a country where mass protests have become a common occurrence...” said Lukashenko.
He trolled France by offering Minsk as a “universal platform” for negotiations between the government and the opposition.
“As an experienced politician - to an immature one - I would like to advise Mr. Macron to look around less, and instead, finally, focus on the internal affairs of France. At least start solving the problems that have accumulated in the country,” Lukashenko said.
The day before, Macron, in an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche, said that the authorities in Belarus cannot accept the “logic of democracy,” admired the “courage of the protesters” and advised Lukashenko to resign.
