President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was able to combine in one passage his protest against the “Maidan”, compliments to the Maidan activist Armenian Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan and the President of Maidan Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, as well as another attack towards Russia.

The Belarusian leader demonstrated his verbal acrobatics at a meeting with KGB Chairman Valery Vakulchik, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There is no need to compare us, as recently a newspaper from a neighboring country wrote (“Kommersant” - ed.) that we have new Pashinyans and Zelenskys here. The situation can develop differently, but we don’t have the Pashinyans and the Zelenskys. No matter what events happen in Armenia and Ukraine, these are still talented people – both Zelensky and Pashinyan.

I have already become intimately acquainted with them. These are talented people and, most importantly, patriots of their country. They are loyal to their country. And some of our people want to sell for a penny everything that was created here not only by President Lukashenko and the authorities. It was created by the people. Therefore, I say once again to the Maidanists: we will never allow destabilization in our country,” the president emphasized.

He complained that “the winds are blowing on the Belarusian land from the wrong direction.” But Belarus, according to the president, has learned to “fight these winds.”

“We absolutely know the goals that individual wind turbines are pursuing here. These goals are clear to us: to organize a Maidan for us on the eve of the presidential elections or on the day of the presidential elections. That's what they planned. I want to warn you at this meeting and I want to warn everyone who hears us, all these “Maidanists”, that there will be no Maidans in Belarus,” Lukashenko said.

He compared those who collect signatures for presidential candidates to “gangs of criminals” and the “Gestapo.” According to Lukashenko, Belarusians can easily debate “in the kitchen.”
