Lukashenko once again publicly asked Putin for gas
The issue of energy resources and payments for them has not been resolved in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at the summit of heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Such inflexibility negatively affects the entire price chain for the formation of added value, and therefore undermines the sustainability of the Union’s functioning, especially in the future. Until we have entered the common energy markets in the EAEU, we need to agree on how we will act in the current situation. This primarily concerns prices and payments for natural gas. Obviously, with such a sharp change in the economic situation, the price should be more adaptive, and the payment mechanism should be more flexible for consumers. In this part, I have a special appeal to President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin so that we can promptly consider this issue,” Lukashenko said.
He also asked the partners to introduce a provision on industrial subsidies into national legislation, and the Eurasian Bank to engage in debt restructuring and preferential financing.
In his response speech, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with the idea of creating a “green corridor” for goods from the EAEU countries and zeroing out import duties on components.
