Shchastya, September 27 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – 20 militia tanks advanced from Lugansk towards Shchastya and stopped 15 kilometers from the city, says Chairman of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Gennady Moskal.

“Yesterday in the afternoon, the operational situation in the Lugansk region improved somewhat,” said Gennady Moskal, chairman of the Lugansk Regional State Administration, as quoted by the press service. – After 16 hours the fire from the so-called LPR stopped. The night passed without shelling. With the exception of the massive shelling of the city of Shchastya, several more violations by militants of the Minsk ceasefire agreements were recorded. Thus, from 14.10 to 14.20 from the territory of Pervomaisk (LPR territory), 13 mortar shots were fired at the town of Girska, which is under the control of Ukraine. As a result, a 5-story house, a 2-story house and a private house were damaged. Two local residents were wounded while they were sitting on a bench; one soon died in the hospital. During this shelling, one of the mines exploded near the bus carrying miners to work. The driver was injured and hospitalized, the bus was partially damaged. The miners were not injured, all mines in the village. Girsky are operating as usual,” says Moskal.
“In addition, at about 16:20, 15 militant tanks began moving from Lugansk towards the town of Shchastya. They stopped near the village of Metalist (the last village is XNUMX kilometers from the town of Shchastya) and did not move further,” said the chairman of the Lugansk Regional State Administration.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the militias said that the Ukrainian military was deliberately shelling residential areas in Shchastya in order to discredit the LPR.
