Liechtenstein announced support for Ukraine in Donbass
The Principality of Liechtenstein will support Ukraine in its cooperation with the UN and the OSCE and will do everything possible to quickly find ways to peacefully resolve the conflict in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the Crown Prince of the Principality of Liechtenstein Alois at a joint briefing with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv, the press service of the Ukrainian president reports.
“We will maintain interaction at the international and bilateral level regarding cooperation with the UN and OSCE,” said Prince Alois.
He noted that during negotiations with President Poroshenko he expressed concern about the situation in the East of Ukraine, as well as hope for its speedy peaceful resolution.
“We are, of course, a small state, we have limited capabilities and we can only provide limited assistance, but we will do everything in our power,” Prince Alois promised.
He also noted that Liechtenstein, if necessary, is ready to help Ukraine carry out reforms.
Crown Prince of the Principality of Liechtenstein Alois is in Ukraine on an official visit.
This is the first visit by a representative of Liechtenstein since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
