“She already has 50 kg of weight left. All the veins are punctured so that there is no time to put an IV... They forcefully give IVs of glucose, protein, but there is nothing left to inject - only bruises remain... Today she may not even come to court with her feet, because she has no strength at all No. An absolutely tragic situation. She can barely speak, but she says that she will not back down,” Tymoshenko said.
“She speaks with lawyers and speaks clearly and clearly: she does not doubt for a minute that she will continue the hunger strike until the last minute of her life. This is the only method of her own participation in the defense of Ukraine,” Yulia assured.
Deputies in the hall, listening to Tymoshenko's speech, rose from their seats, expressing respect for Savchenko.
Tymoshenko clarified that today a large group of Verkhovna Rada deputies went to Moscow for trial, which is expected to extend Savchenko’s prison term. Some even “didn’t have enough tickets in the morning,” the politician claims.
