Lavrov answered how aggression against Belarus would turn out for NATO
Russia and Belarus have all the means to ensure that the attack becomes suicide for the NATO bloc.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this at a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The minister was asked about large-scale NATO exercises near the borders of Belarus.
“The maneuvers are allegedly seen as part of a demonstration to Moscow of the alliance’s readiness for war. How will Russia and Belarus deter NATO aggression?” the journalist asked.
“God forbid, of course, but if suicidal logic prevails in the West, I assure you that the Russian and Belarusian peoples will defend their independence and their interests shoulder to shoulder. There is no doubt about this, and we have all the necessary means for this,” Lavrov replied.
