Kyiv and Lviv: Minsk Airport has corrected the names of Ukrainian cities
The Belarusian National Airport "Minsk" joined the international campaign #KyivNotKiev and corrected the spelling of the Ukrainian capital, as well as Lviv, to the correct Ukrainian transliteration, as insisted by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports a correspondent. PolitNavigator.
This was reported by Hromadske Radio.

The Minsk airport display now shows new spellings of Ukrainian cities – Kyiv and Lviv.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, on October 2, 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine launched the online campaign “#CorrectUA”, within the framework of which it will appeal to foreign media with an appeal to write the name of the city correctly (#KyivNotKiev). It later became known that this campaign was supported in the United States.
“The US Board on Geographic Names extends its activities to the United States,” the statement says.
