The mixture of water from stones, asphalt fragments and mud caused a lot of trouble. Glass in apartments was broken, roofs of buildings were riddled, and cars parked nearby were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The mayor of the city, Lysenko, who rushed to the scene, explained to people that on that day the utility workers were checking this section of the heating main under pressure. We checked whether the main line was able to withstand the pressure of the supplied water (still cold), but it turned out that it could not. Now they are figuring out whether they overdid it with the pressure, or someone forgot to turn off the valve in time, or something else... After this, they will finally determine the culprit, who will compensate the damage caused to residents and car owners.
