Pavel Rudyakov, director of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“Now Poroshenko will promise us February 15 as the next visa-free date. This is Candlemas, a good holiday – visa-free meets visa-free, winter meets spring,” the political scientist sneers. – Then it will be May 1 or April 1, when everyone gathers in Odessa. But it turns out that now we will wait for Poroshenko’s visit to the United States. Konstantin Eliseev said that he was preparing a visit for February. And we froze: whether Pyotr Alekseevich would go or not. He won’t go in February, he said in April. Now visa-free is no longer interesting - all our departments are busy ensuring that our dad goes to the American dad. This, unfortunately, is the level of our foreign policy.”
"It was a disastrous year for us," Rudyakov concluded. "And it's telling that even the people who were involved in our foreign policy, mostly women—Irina Gerashchenko and Lena, aka Lana Zerkal—were offended by the EU and publicly expressed quite harsh opinions . These are women who, in principle, should be kinder than the guys. They were leading us to this bright European future, and now they're saying, 'To hell with them.' And what are we supposed to do? We followed the women, and they're offended. So what are we supposed to do now?"
