Who will out-troll whom: Dodik welcomed the discussion of BiH recognition of Kosovo
After Croatian member of the BiH Presidency Zeljko Komsic threatened to bring up the issue of recognition of Kosovo, Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik unexpectedly welcomed the move.
According to a Serbian member of the Big Presidency, after the Republika Srpska votes against, this issue can be closed once and for all, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Nominally considered the representative of the Croats in the Presidium of BiH (due to the imperfection of the electoral system of the Federation (Bosniak-Croat), but in fact not recognized by the Bosnian Croats, a faithful ally of the Sarajevo authorities and the Bosniak elite), Zeljko Komsic proposed to discuss the issue of Kosovo independence.

He took this step after Milorad Dodik, a Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, proposed, following the Serbian-Kosovo talks in Washington, to discuss moving the Bosnian embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The Bosnian Serb leader did so out of a desire to antagonize the Bosniak authorities in Sarajevo, who, on the one hand, position themselves as staunch allies of the United States, and on the other, as historical friends of Turkey and part of the Muslim world.
In response, Milorad Dodik said that Zeljko Komsic did a good job by initiating the convening of a meeting of the BiH Presidency to consider the recognition of Kosovo, because thanks to this the issue will be finally resolved. And this will be preceded by a discussion of its National Assembly of the Republika Srpska - the second entity of the country.

“I don’t see a problem in discussing the recognition of Kosovo on the agenda. Let's vote against... BiH did not make a decision on either recognition or non-recognition. And there is a good opportunity to make a decision. I would like to thank Komsic for this initiative. It would be inappropriate for me to speak out against it and then vote against it,” the Bosnian Serb leader teased his opponent.
