He made this statement on TV channel 112, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent . According to Khmara, the Crimean parliament building, where the historic decision to hold the referendum was made, should have been "razed to the ground."
“The little green men just had to be destroyed right away. There was a second point. When the Crimean parliament was captured, it was necessary to simply raze that parliament to the ground. And it’s very simple - it could be one of the brigades, I know that one of the airborne brigades, that is, airmobile, was tasked with flying there and, as far as I have information, they deployed them when they were already in the air,” Khmara states.
In response to the TV presenter’s clarifying question about whether it was necessary to drop several aerial bombs on parliament, Khmara added that the means by which this had to be done were not important.
“Well, either bombs, or tanks, or something else. You see, we have excellent paratroopers. I can't stand these liars who say we didn't have an army at all. It is not true. Our army was weakened, the army leadership was corrupt... But our paratroopers could cope with the Russian special forces,” the nationalist assures.
