Simferopol, April 21 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Monday, at about 11.00, Crimean self-defense fighters entered the Mejlis building in Simferopol and removed the state flag of Ukraine from the facade.

This was reported by “15 Minutes” with reference to member of the Majlis Riza Shevkiyev.
According to the functionary, unknown people in camouflage, without introducing themselves, burst into the building to remove the yellow-blue flag and hoist the flag of the Republic of Crimea.
As a result, watchman Zodie Salieva, press secretary Lilya Muslimova and chief accountant of the Crimea Fund Marlena Seitasanova were injured - those who entered allegedly used physical force against the women.
“They did not have any instructions to remove the flag,” noted Riza Shekiev.
At the moment, members of the Mejlis have removed the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the building, hanging the flag of the Crimean Tatars.
The police were called to the scene, but they have not yet appeared.
