In 2014, Moscow had no choice but to support Crimea’s desire for reunification with Russia.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy and Interaction with the Media, Alexei Pushkov, in an interview with the Crimean Journal, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
