Kosovo parliamentarian: “Let’s disconnect from the Russian gas pipeline and live”
The leader of the parliamentary faction of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Arben Gashi, said that disconnecting from the Russian gas pipeline is a strategic goal of the “country.”
This was reported by Telegrafi, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Gashi, after the signing of the Washington Agreement, Kosovo becomes the center of South-Eastern Europe.
“If we are talking about an agreement in Washington, we need to consider three things,” said the separatist politician. – Firstly, Kosovo is becoming the center of South-Eastern Europe in terms of road and railway infrastructure, as well as gas pipelines. A gas pipeline will pass through Kosovo to supply Serbia and Kosovo. It connects South-Eastern Europe with Thessaloniki (Greece - ed.) and Durres (Albania - ed.), where Kosovo will be the main hub, and the highway connecting the two ports passes through Kosovo."
Therefore, Arben Ganshi believes that the refusal of Russian gas is a strategic decision for Kosovo. By signing the agreement, according to the politician, in Washington, the “government” of Avdullah Hoti, also from the LDK, “opened the way for Kosovo to the international arena, and no agreement harms Kosovo, as the opposition claims.”
