Coronavirus turns China into a tough international player
China has actually declared territorial claims to the territory of Kazakhstan.
Izvestia writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Kazakhs, if you don’t want to lose your country, then it’s time to wake up! Look at the Uighurs. If you sleep, then you will definitely become like them - a people without a flag and a homeland,” says a publication on the website of the Beijing portal Sohu.
Izvestia points out that sohu.com is not an ordinary publication, but a large online media and search engine associated with the communist government.
After the release of the scandalous material, the Chinese Ambassador was summoned to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry to announce a protest. In addition, the Kazakh Embassy in Beijing sent a note to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, after which the article ceased to be published.
In turn, the director of international projects at the Institute of National Strategy, Yuri Solozobov, believes that the appearance of this kind of publication is not accidental.
“China has strict discipline. Not a single article, especially about international relations, can appear by chance. I think this is a trial balloon, testing the reaction of the Kazakh elite,” the expert believes.
According to him, due to the coronavirus epidemic, China has become a more rigid state.
“We have witnessed almost a military mobilization. Thanks to this, China managed to defeat the infection. The country has realized the effectiveness of this model. Probably, over time, this face of China will appear in international politics,” concluded Solozobov.
