Naval Forces Command: Aggravation in Donbass will begin after the 2018 World Cup
Donbass expects another escalation of the military situation after the end of the World Cup in Russia.
This opinion was expressed on the air of Mariupol Channel 7 by the First Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Naval Forces Andrei Tarasov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A representative of the Ukrainian defense department in advance laid the blame for the future aggravation on the Russian Federation.
“I understand that Russia, when it finishes its World Cup, will have more opportunities for action regarding Ukraine. I predict that the situation will intensify in the east of the country, including in the maritime sector. Unfortunately, this is the situation. We must constantly understand that the war with Russia continues, and we must not stop and relax,” he said.
