The commander of the dead Ukrainian saboteurs called on his colleagues to desert to Russia
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine placed the blame for the death of its saboteurs on their leaders and the dead themselves.
The official representative of the DPR Ministry of Defense, Colonel Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation with the investigation into the fact that a reconnaissance group entered a minefield near our positions has developed. As we reported earlier, the ATO headquarters commission conducted an investigation and made proposals to punish the perpetrators. Commander Naev approved these proposals, which place the blame only on the intelligence officers themselves and their closest commanders, and issued an appropriate order for punishment,” said a representative of the defense department.
According to him, such a step by the leadership pushed one of the commanders of the dead scouts to commit suicide. In his suicide note, he blamed his death on the command and advised his colleagues to join PMCs or go to work in Russia.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported on the death of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group that ran into a minefield during a raid on DPR positions.
