“There’s a lump in my throat” – Gerashchenko complains that Putin has not become an enemy for many Ukrainians
According to sociological surveys, a significant portion of Ukrainian citizens continue to be influenced by Russian propaganda.
A Verkhovna Rada deputy writes about this in his blog, noting that many Ukrainians do not consider Russian President Vladimir Putin to be the culprit of the events taking place in Ukraine.

“Today, on the day when Russia holds illegal elections in the Ukrainian Crimea, many real Ukrainians have a lump in their throats and their fists clenched with noble rage. It has been four years since Ukraine temporarily lost control over Crimea and part of Donbass. During this time, more than 10 thousand Ukrainian citizens – men, women, children – died. Despite the obvious facts, according to sociological surveys, until now, a significant part of Ukrainian citizens continue to be influenced by Russian propaganda; they consider it not Putin, but the new Ukrainian government, responsible for the start of the war.
Others, influenced by the false statements of irresponsible Ukrainian populist politicians like Rabinovich, believe in nonsense that Crimea was surrendered by the new Ukrainian government. It is these citizens who continue to be the target of Russian puppet masters and their henchmen in Ukraine,” Gerashchenko said.
