According to the official website of the team (Budivelnik is the champion of Ukraine), the victory over the team from the Russian Federation “in the current realities, in any case, was a matter of principle.”

However, in the end, the Kievans still lost to the Russians with a score of 102:77.

The sponsor of Budivelnik is PrivatBank of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.

The new uniform, although it did not bring good luck, will be used by the team throughout the new 2014/15 season.
