According to Timer , citing informed sources, Palytsia, who won a seat in the Verkhovna Rada on the Petro Poroshenko Bloc list, has decided to resign as governor of the Odesa region. It is expected that he will be replaced by another person from the entourage of oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky.
The press service of the head of the Regional State Administration has not yet commented on this information, only recalling that the governor of the Odessa region has 20 days from the announcement of the election results to decide: to remain governor or accept a deputy mandate. Since the election results were officially announced on October 12, Palitsa still has time to make decisions.
Let us note that earlier information appeared in the local media that Odessa residents do not trust Palitsa as a governor and negatively assess his activities as a business executive.
