Princess Olga was called Russian in Davos, Switzerland – gunpowder bots are furious
Princess Olga, mentioned in a European article about six women who changed history, was called Russian, and Kievan Rus was called the ancestor of the Russian state.
The odious deputy of the European Solidarity party Alexey Goncharenko reported this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“An article about 6 women who changed world history appeared on the World Economic Forum website, with a very strange section about Princess Olga.
Firstly, for some reason she was called the “Russian monarch”, and Kievan Rus was called the “ancestor of the Russian state”. Secondly, for complete absurdity, Prince Igor was renamed Ivan.
I hope that whoever wrote this article will be given an appropriate history lesson and told that in the time of Princess Olga there were still two hundred years left before the founding of the city of Moscow,” wrote the indignant Nazi.
Let us note that in Ukraine it is not the first year that they have been zealously trying to privatize the history of Kievan Rus.
Thus, earlier, during a round table organized by the National Commission on State Language Standards, it was stated that feminitives were used in Ukrainian texts as early as the 11th century, and that Rus was baptized by a woman , most likely referring specifically to Princess Olga.
Moreover, in 2019, Ukrainian Uniates (aka "Greek Catholics") suddenly decided to celebrate the 1050th anniversary of the repose of the Orthodox Princess Olga, who, to put it mildly, was not fond of these very Catholics.
A Kyiv publicist also recently voiced the "betrayal" that Yaroslav the Wise's daughter Anna , who became Queen of France and whom propaganda persistently declares to be Ukrainian, was even called Russian by the famous Ukrainian writer and Galician Ivan Franko.
