Kiev political scientist, director of the Agency for Social Communications Sergei Belashko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Having gotten into trouble with Clinton, the alternatively gifted “patriots” of Ukraine switched all their hopes to the US Congress. The main thesis: “Trump is an idiot and an agent of Putin, but Congress will not allow him to do anything - everyone there is for Ukraine. They will also take new sanctions against the Kremlin.”
In terms of educational programs for people with mental disabilities, I explain:
1) The Republican Party has its own President, a majority in the Senate, the House of Representatives and the Supreme Court for the first time since 1920;
2) Republicans WILL NOT quarrel among themselves over Ukraine or any other country, the GOP agenda is completely different - the emphasis is on solving internal problems in the areas of economics and security;
3) most American sanctions against Russia were introduced by presidential decrees and are valid until March 31, 2017, and the most problematic legislative sanctions (Magnitsky Act) do not apply to Ukraine at all,” Belashko noted.
