Kyiv deputies do not let up - they turned to Klimkin to take the land from the Russian Embassy
The Kiev City Council will contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to obtain the department's position on the draft decision on the termination of three land lease agreements with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

This was announced by the secretary of the Kyiv City Council Vladimir Prokopiv.
“The Kyiv City Council will make a decision, taking into account the opinion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Now we will contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and get their position on this matter. After this, we will conduct a legal examination to see if this is possible in principle, and if both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and lawyers approve such a draft decision, only then can it be considered at a plenary meeting of the city council. It’s only been considered, and it’s not a fact that it’s been accepted,” he said.
