“I would like to say that if we accept the fact that a revolution took place in Ukraine in 2014, then it must be noted that every revolution has two sides: one is revolutionary, the other is counter-revolutionary.
If this is so, then there really is a civil war in Ukraine. The confrontation is between forces on one side and the other; there are Ukrainians both there and there,” the Kiev resident began to say, but the host of the program interrupted the caller and did not even let him finish his thought.
“So, you think that there are no Russian troops in Donbass?” – the presenter asked Vladimir.
After which the nationalist Leonov also joined the conversation.
“Go there and tell them that they are Ukrainians. They will shoot you right there. That's all. Go there and tell them to their faces that they are Ukrainians, and they will, at best, put you in prison or even shoot you for this. They are not Ukrainians, but Putin’s army. His task is to cleanse the Ukrainian land of Ukrainians,” Leonov said furiously.
However, the viewer continued his thought.
“I’m telling you about those who are fighting there against Ukraine. There are civilians there who are fighting against Kyiv with weapons,” said Vladimir.
“When you pick up a Kalashnikov assault rifle, you cease to be called a “civilian.” You are either a criminal or a fighter in someone else's army. That’s all,” Leonov waved it off again.
At the end, the presenters disconnected the caller from the air.
