Kyiv is asking Russia for forgiveness for the pogrom against the Russian embassy in Kyiv last year, which Ukrainian law enforcement classified as hooliganism.

As you know, the Russian embassy building is still under restoration, as evidenced by notices warning about construction work on the fence around the diplomatic mission.
