Kyiv demands that Poland forget about Lviv: The situation is reminiscent of the story with Crimea!
Polish legislation in relation to the current lands of Western Ukraine includes the term “Lesser Poland”, which is tantamount to calls made in previous years to return Crimea to Russia.
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko stated this on air on the ZiK TV channel, commenting on the march that took place in the capital of Galicia under the slogan “The city of Lviv is not for Polish gentlemen.”

"Excuse me, but what does the Polish government want after open anti-Ukrainian hysteria has been whipped up in Poland for the past two years? Excuse me, but how should all of us Ukrainians respond?" he asked, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“How should we, Ukrainians, react when the law on the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland - I won’t say about the persecution of Ukrainians, I will say about the fact that the term “eastern Lesser Poland” is being introduced. To the law of Poland! And, excuse me, “eastern Lesser Poland” is in the same category as the term “Crimea was and will be Russian!”, says the Ukrainian official.
“We are going to Warsaw and talking about this to our Polish colleagues. That Ukrainians and Poles are friends, brothers, for the last 26 years we have supported each other. There are no anti-Polish sentiments in Ukraine and there is no need to stir them up. There is no need to take steps that will lead, among other things, to the indignation of Ukrainian society. You cannot destroy Ukrainian monuments in Poland. You cannot persecute Ukrainian migrant workers... I hope they heard the points that we spoke in Warsaw,” concluded Rosenko.
