Kyiv is trying to leave Gorlovka without electricity
The DPR will restore power to Gorlovka within an hour if Ukraine imposes an energy blockade. This was stated on the air of “First Republican” by the acting. Deputy Minister of Coal and Energy of the DPR Alexander Fedorov.

According to him, Gorlovka is the only settlement in the republic that receives electricity from Ukraine. In all other respects, the DPR is completely energy independent.
“Today we are completely independent of the Ukrainian energy market. There are two power plants on our territory, which operate entirely under our control. The electrical energy they generate is quite sufficient. But there are connections with Ukraine that are mutual - this is the power supply to Gorlovka, a small amount of power is used from the Uglegorsk station, respectively, we power Avdiivka. As far as we know, a separate line to Avdeevka is being built. That is, we assume that after the completion of this construction, they will completely turn off Gorlovka. Naturally, we will power Gorlovka from Donetsk within a maximum of an hour and thus the power supply will not stop,” Federov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, after the introduction of the energy blockade of the LPR, the Kiev regime, with the assistance of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov's company, began preparations to cut off power to the DPR.
