“Good targets for training” – Russian general on US planes over Kiev
The flights of American military aircraft over Kiev do not pose a threat to Russia.
The chairman of the Presidium of the All-Russian organization “Officers of Russia”, Hero of Russia, Major General Sergei Lipovoy told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“American bombers over Ukraine are not a cause for concern for Russia at the moment. This, after all, was to be expected: from the very beginning, the United States had far-reaching plans for Ukraine as a country directly bordering Russia. As I already said, for the United States “Nezalezhnaya” is just a training ground.
The necessary measures to ensure the security of Russian borders have already been taken. Our military pilots and air defense missile system specialists are given the opportunity to train on real targets. This is good tactical training. And the American military will most likely refrain from even their usual minor provocations: in fact, the United States is not at all eager to transform the information war with Russia into a real military conflict,” the general said.
