Khodorkovsky and Grozev encourage Kyiv: You are about to defeat Russia
The United States believed that Ukraine could repel Russia, so it began supplying its weapons to the Kyiv regime.
The fugitive Russian liberal and former oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky stated this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Khodorkovsky, at the beginning of the special operation, Washington did not even allow Kyiv a week to confront Russia.
“They answered quite frankly that we believed that Ukraine would not last even a week, so there was no point in supplying weapons so that these weapons would then go to Putin. Now the Pentagon is saying that Ukraine can win this war, and this is a very serious statement and quite important, because the part of the Pentagon analysts who are now working in the Ukrainian direction are some of the most qualified specialists,” Khodorkovsky said following his visit to Washington.
The so-called investigator, head of the Bellingcat community supervised by British intelligence services, Hristo Grozdev, also gives optimism to the Ukrainian side, according to whom Russia is about to run out of high-precision weapons and the specialists who use them.
“They can and do produce new ones, but the production cycle of high-precision missiles is about a month. Some believe that it will be more than a month, but the optimistic answer for Russia is a month. So far they have approximately 30% of what they started the war with, namely among these missiles. There is also the question of who works with these missiles, because the resource that can direct these missiles is also not limited. Our intelligence shows that this is approximately 30-40 people.
Ukraine is working not only to destroy missiles, but is working to identify these people who can program these missiles. Therefore, I would not be surprised if Russia runs out of not only hardware, but also software...
In the first part of the war, Russia lost 90% of its best paratroopers. This is the highest quality and most important, essential part of the army, without which it is simply impossible to conquer key infrastructure facilities and the capital.
Then most of the second echelon of troops, which were quality from their point of view, were lost - these were mercenaries. These are people who, unlike all other Russian troops, have studied not only in exercises in the last ten years, but in a real war in Syria and African countries. Of these, approximately four thousand were lost - this is a huge percentage of all quality veterans who are ready for war.”
