“I’m talking about a domestic issue. We have water on the tables - the bottles are too big. After all, not everyone drinks it. And pour clean water into the drains. Let's make it 0.33, or even better, 0.1. They used to be called bastard when they sold 100 grams of vodka. No vodka needed. We objected when, in the early years of Parliament, we were given Pepsi-Cola and Coca-Cola. And now I regret it. Sometimes you get tired of clean, good water. Once a quarter I would like to drink some nasty stuff. Maybe we should allow small bottles of Coca-Cola once a quarter,” Zhirinovsky said.

He also suggested calculating the excessive consumption of water due to improper packaging on a Russian scale.

“The proposal is correct, but if we talk about costs, they will be higher. If such a topic is brought up for discussion, let's work from the perspective of economics and water conservation. A person should consume two to three liters of water during the day. Deputies spend more than four hours in the hall. We must take care of those who are here. As for packaging, let this issue be studied at the device level. You are right, water must be conserved,” responded speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
