Tymoshenko's Tryndyuk bakery raised prices in Sevastopol
Sevastopol, April 21 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – In Sevastopol, the price of products from Tsar Bread OJSC, owned by ex-deputy from the Batkivshchyna party Yuri Tryndyuk, has increased. Representatives of the local Legislative Assembly are wondering whether there is a political motive to this.

The leader of the Russian Bloc party, Gennady Basov, believes that the rise in price is solely due to the depreciation of the hryvnia. According to him, the leadership of “Tsar Bread” behaved more than worthy during the February Russian Revolution.
“They came to meet us halfway. They provided checkpoints with their products. I don’t think that now “Tsar Bread” has decided to somehow “take revenge” on the people of Sevastopol. I think it’s all about the depreciation of the hryvnia. Let’s hope that this is a temporary phenomenon,” Basov said.
The head of the “A Just Russia” faction in the Legislative Assembly, Evgeniy Dubovik, is not sure of the integrity of the bakers. But he also refrains from jumping to conclusions.
“I have no right to give an assessment, even as a deputy. This should be addressed by the Antimonopoly Committee. As far as I know, such work is underway. We’ll wait for the results of the inspection,” Dubovik said.
The ex-head of Sevastopol, Ivan Ermakov, does not deny that the increase in bread prices may in one way or another be connected with Tryndyuk’s political preferences. However, according to the former mayor, the main reason for the rise in price is still that flour is imported from Ukraine.
“As soon as Russian raw materials arrive in Sevastopol, prices will fall,” Ermakov explained.
