Kazarin Jr. advises Poroshenko to turn off the power to Crimea
Crimea will be on the agenda in the international community and some kind of “Minsk format” will be organized around it if Ukraine introduces an energy blockade of the peninsula. Former Crimean journalist Pavel Kazarin, who supported the participants in the coup in Ukraine, stated this on Radio Vesti.

According to him, Moscow will have to spend enormous amounts of money to provide the peninsula with electricity.
“Crimea is critically dependent on Ukraine for electricity. If Ukraine officially cuts off electricity, Moscow will have to spend enormous amounts of money to compensate for the lack of these same megawatts on the peninsula. Because of the food blockade, Crimea returned to the internal Ukrainian agenda, and because of the energy blockade, Crimea returned to the global interstate agenda. Crimea will already be discussed within the framework of some new Minsk,” Kazarin said.
