The Ukrainian Navy boats, which Russia returned from Crimea after being detained due to a provocation near the Kerch Strait, could become important evidence in the criminal case for the enrichment of Petro Poroshenko in the war.

The only problem is that the new president, Vladimir Zelensky, has repeatedly demonstrated his unwillingness to investigate the crimes of his predecessor.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Voloshin drew attention to a photograph of the side of one of the Ukrainian Navy boats, taken shortly after the incident in the Kerch Strait.

“In this whole story about the “return of captured ships,” they overlook the sad fact that we are talking about two small boats and an old tugboat. Moreover, the boats made at Poroshenko’s plant were of such poor quality that their casing turned out to be pierced by blanks without a large warhead.

The photo shows that there is a hole, but no signs of an explosion. And no one set the task of firing at the boats with live shells to the Russian border guards. They assumed that only dents would remain from demonstrating the seriousness of their intentions to delay the departing ships, because nominally the boats were supposed to be armored. And in the end, our sailors were also wounded by fragments of this “armor,” if I may say so.

In general, we have laughter and sin, not the fleet. And over the past years, nothing significant has been done in the direction of the development of the Navy,” comments Voloshin.
