Karasev was surprised by Poroshenko’s rating in Donbass
Social polls show that in Donbass about 15% of voters are ready to vote for the current President Petro Poroshenko, but these data clearly do not correspond to the real state of affairs.
Vadim Karasev, director of the Institute of Global Strategies, announced this at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It is very strange that, according to opinion polls, the current president in Donbass has 15%. I understand that Boyko is in first place there with 30%. I understand that Zelensky and Vilkul may have many votes there. But it is unlikely that the current president can have such support in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in the territory controlled by Ukraine. Thanks to these figures, the president broke into the top three and has a chance of getting into the second round,” Karasev said.
